I was in my hometown and there was a MASSIVE exodus. I still don’t know why people were in a hurry but I knew that desperate times were coming. There was no food and the stores were empty. I was in a store and almost every item was gone. I grabbed what I could and left, too. As I was leaving, I noticed a few workers who looked like grocery janitors dressed in protective white clothing (like hazmat suits). They seemed to be spraying the store down with a chemical.
The street lanes were wide and absolutely packed with cars. There were tens of thousands of cars in lines as far as I could see. I got a ride with a lady after I asked her if she was going to Chesapeake, Va. and she said yes. I was competing with a family of 5 for that ride. I got to Chesapeake and things were no different. People were everywhere. Our house was broken into & jewelry was stolen (I seemed to be upset by this). I still don’t know what caused the exodus and desperation.
