(July 16,2003)

    I was walking across a street with someone and noticed a car exploded in the heavy traffic.  Immediately another car bomb went off in the same traffic [we were in a big city & all the lanes of traffic (4 or more) were stopped at a red light].  We immediately began to run in the opposite direction and noticed a few more bombs exploded and there were lines of fire on the ground.  The next thing I remember was being blocked in from every direction and having to go to a large place with many other people.  We sat down in what looked like a large college classroom where middle eastern men (Iraqi) wearing camouflage uniforms were putting plastic bands around everyone’s hands. There was said to be 3000 people being kept and they would kill 1 (often) to make good on their threats.
